Here are the piece of shit "Ractive Euro Coilovers" These are supposed to be for the Prelude??? |
As you can see from the picture, these springs are NOT for a Prelude, regardless of what the salesman says. They
ride like shit and have no travel what so ever. Notice the second spring or helper spring on bottom, It is totally
compressed. Also the main spring is almost fully compressed, Not good. They have agreed to exchange them for something
else, thank god.
I am waiting for a set of springs now, instead of adjustable coilovers.
There are 2 sets being considered, B&G or Apex. Both giving 1.5 and 1.6" drop respectively. Probably
go with Apex. I have ordered a set of Ingalls camber correction kit for front and rear, to align the car properly this
time.
I hope to have this all on within another week.
Sorry about no updates for a while, but not much sense of putting on pics in the winter.
Suspension is complete, and what a difference!!
I now have the Apexi springs, with the tokico struts. Fantastic.
Final height is @1.8" drop I believe, road clearance from oil pan to ground is @2.5". Not much, watch out porcupines.
I got a new Digital Camera at Christmas time and cant wait to put it to use on the web site, adding new pics and replacing
the blurry ones.
Here are some Web Forums that I found, to post messages for Honda's. Mainly Preludes
